Deadline to send materials, contract, and payment for senior yearbook ads is THURSDAY, OCTOBER 13th. For more information, click on the Photo Info/Senior Ads tab at the top of this website. If your materials, contract, or payment come after October 13th, we may not be able to include your ad in the yearbook. You can purchase a 2016-17 Yearbook for the lowest price of the year at www.smart-pay.com. Simply use the drop down menu on the side to select our school. The current price is $75. The price will increase to $80 on Sept. 17, $85 on Oct. 15, and then after online sales end in the spring, we will have to charge the full price + tax which will be around $97.
If you have any questions about Senior Ads or yearbook purchases, please email Mrs. Laffin at [email protected]. Students received the information packets this week in English classes. Every section of every page must be completed in order to secure a spot on the trip (all students will attend; exceptions will be cleared by Mrs. Mishler).
If you would like to sponsor another student who may be experiencing financial strain, be sure to mark that on the CSHS Permission Slip and include the amount in your payment. Please make sure to complete the insurance information on the Carolina Creek Participation Agreement at the bottom of page 1. If you do not have insurance, please write "Self Pay". Packets may be turned in to the cafeteria next Tuesday - Thursday (September 27-29). If students want to ride the same bus as a group of friends, please turn in the packets as a group. Questions? See Mrs. Mishler or email her at [email protected]. On Wednesday, September 14th, Seniors will attend a special assembly presented in conjunction with the City of College Station, College Station Fire Department, and CSISD. The assembly features Sean Simons and Alvaro Llanos who were victims of an arson fire set in their dorm at Seton Hall in January of 2000. Students will hear their account of the events that night and learn about their recovery and healing both physically and emotionally. The assembly will take place from 9:30-11:30 in the auditorium. For more information on the assembly and Sean and Alvaro, please visit: www.alvaroandshawn.com. During the remaining periods of the day, students will attend a Counselor Chat session with Mrs. Hoffmann in the LGI. She will be discussing post-high school information, especially steps to take to complete college applications and reference letters. Students will attend these sessions during their English classes. Students who are missing their normal English class to attend the After the Fire Assembly are rescheduled for an alternate period that fits their schedules.
