Graduation Practice
Graduation Practice will be from 11:45 PM - 2:00 on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Reed Arena.
All students are required to attend, and all graduating seniors must stay for the entire practice.
Enter through the North Entrance. When looking at Reed Arena from Kyle Field/Rec Center, enter on the right-hand side. Look for the signs.
Parking Passes
Each graduate will receive 2 parking passes at graduation practice. All passes will be distributed to the student at graduation practice. Additional passes may be purchased through TAMU at www.parkme.com.
Honor Stoles/NHS Collars
All students receiving academic honor stoles will be given these items at practice. Rented honor stoles & NHS collars will be returned at diploma pick-up graduation night.
Fine/Textbook Collection
All fines must be paid and textbooks turned in for students to receive diplomas. Students need to make sure this is completed before practice.

7:15 PM - Viewing Gallery for Hug Line for Parents Opens on 2nd Floor
7:30 - 8:00 PM - Faculty Hug Line as Student Leave the Building for the Last Time
8:00 PM - Final Cougar Yell as the Sun Sets
6:30 - 7:30 PM - Dinner for Students & Faculty in the Cafeteria

Graduation Night
Be sure to have your parking pass in your car, or you will be charged a $5 parking fee by TAMU.
Students: Purses, Cell Phones, Cameras, etc.
Please bring only car keys that fit in pockets into Reed Arena.
If personal items are brought to graduation that do not fit in a student's pocket, they will be checked in, and students will have to pick up these items after the ceremony. Items may not be left in the staging area, since AMCHS will be using it to set up for their ceremony after ours. Students MAY NOT carry purses, phones, keys, etc. in their hands as they enter graduation. The school is not responsible for any lost items.
Any distracting items, such as noisemakers and beach balls will be confiscated before the ceremony and not returned.
Arrival Time/Dress Code
Arrive at Reed Arena no later than 3 PM with cap & gown in hand. Students should wear appropriate shoes to walk in. Ladies must wear a dress or a blouse and skirt/slacks. Gentlemen must wear a dress shirt and tie and slacks. NO JEANS OR TENNIS SHOES. Decorations, writing, etc. may not be added to the graduation cap. (If you need help with any of these clothing items, see Mrs. Rodgers.)
Diplomas
Diplomas will be distributed after students exit the Reed Arena floor. If students have borrowed a cap/gown from the school, they will be returned where students receive the diploma.
